Introducing New Applications or Services into the IT-Managed Environment

New applications or services which IT is expected to manage and support are brought into the Districts through the IT Project process.  This process consists of:

  • A Project Request is entered into the IT Service Desk
  • The Project Request is approved by Business Management, IT Management, and the ETSC
  • IT manages the implementation project using our Project Management methodology

Any IT solution brought into the Districts through any other means will not be supported by District IT staff.  The project initiator should secure the infrastructure, access, long-term support, and maintenance for applications or services they implement without IT.
