How to use Jira Agile Ranking to rank issues
You can use this technique to rank issues in the backlog of a Kanban board. For Agile Ranking to work, the issues need to be in the backlog on a Kanban board. You cannot rank issues that are already in progress.
Step-by-step guide
- Ensure your issues are in the backlog of a Kanban board. The Kanban board must show the project containing the issues you'd like to rank in the Projects in board section of the General board configuration. See How to build a Kanban board based on a project.
- Go to the project containing the issues you'd like to rank.
- Click on Agile Ranking.
