How to Set a Background for Zoom Meetings

In order to set a background for your Zoom meeting, you will need to select one prior to starting or joining a meeting. They can't be selected or changed inside a Zoom meeting.

• Launch the Zoom client. You should see the following. If you don't, please contact the Service Desk (876-6411) for assistance configuring your Zoom client.

• In the upper right corner, select the "Settings" wheel.

• Under Settings, select "Background and Effects."

• From this screen, you can select an approved background from the images provided. Please make sure the option "Mirror my Video" is un-checked. Otherwise the image may be reversed in a meeting.

• Exit the Settings applet, and your account is now configured to display the custom background in your Zoom meetings.
