How to Reset a Password from VPN

How to reset your network password when you are connected at home using VPN.

Prerequisite: You must be connected to your work computer using the County VPN (go.saccounty.net).

When connected to your computer, press Ctrl+Alt+End. This will send a Ctrl+Alt+Del command to your work computer, which will bring up the following menu:

Select Change password, and follow the prompts to reset your network password as needed.

If, for some reason, CTRL+ALT+END does not bring up the menu on the work (remote) machine, there is an alternative:

Run osk.exe on the work (remote) machine to bring up the Windows On-Screen Keyboard.
On the local (home) computer, press and hold CTRL + ALT
On the work (remote) computer, on the virtual keyboard, click on DEL.

This should bring up the proper menu for you to change your password. You may also have to close or move the virtual keyboard to reveal the menu.
